Not Really Feeling It Today? What To Do On Day’s Like That…

EnjoylittlethingspinkHello!

It’s funny you know… My last blog post on ‘Zero Level Marketing‘ really came in handy yesterday!

Do you ever get those times when you just don’t know where you’re at? Where to start? Or just simply can’t be bothered? LOL

Yesterday started off a bit like that. I found myself just staring at the computer screen all confused! I’m not sure why, maybe it was the huge knock back I had over the weekend… Maybe I was just tired, I mean, Kahlan is still getting up in the night for feeds! I don’t know, I just felt ‘OFF’.

I’d had a really good day the day before… Hit my second promotion in my network marketing company and got paid! But these feelings sometimes just sneak up on us don’t they?

So when feeling like this, (I had to take some of my own advice here!) it’s a good time to go to your zero level marketing plan for starters and never just STOP! Also remember to celebrate your little wins and successes! Remember to take some time out for yourself too…

I gave in in the end. I shot my video for my Online Marketing Tips group, got it posted and out the door we went! It’s OK to have some time out. I took Kahlan out for a nice walk into town and we ended up having lunch at the chippy! I think I needed it, food, fresh air and some time out with my baby girl.

We got home and I was still in a bit of a funk with myself. I kept trying to tell myself, ‘Just get on with it Kirsty! Your empire isn’t going to build itself!’ Lol I stuck with the bare minimum to keep pushing my business forward but still wasn’t feeling it.

I got chatting with a friend through Facebook, a friend I’d made through networking. We spent the entire afternoon just chatting, laughing and having fun! It was great and I felt so much better after having a giggle. It’s amazing the people we meet in online business and I just feel so thankful.

Anyway, I felt so much better after that. I got back to it, just for a little while, connecting with some new people and building relationships and hey presto! I got some good results, people interested in working closely with me.

It’s funny I felt like this this week, I think it could have something to do with the Super Moon! I just finished reading ‘The 4 Hour Work Week’ by Timothy Ferriss over the weekend and he ends it with this poem, written by child psychologist David L. Weatherford…

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids on a merry go round?

Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down. Don’t dance so fast.

Time is short. The music won’t last.

Do you ever run through each day on the fly?

When you ask: How are you? Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed

With the next hundred chores running through your head?

You’d better slow down. Don’t dance so fast.

Time is short. The music won’t last.

Ever told your child, we’ll do it tomorrow?

And in your haste, not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time to call and say ‘Hi’?

You’d better slow down. Don’t dance so fast.

Time is short. The music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere you miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day, it’s like an unopened gift thrown away.

Life is not a race. Do take it slower.

Here the music. Before the song is over.

It really hit home! Time is so precious and that is why I’m doing all this. It’s hard work and takes time but the reward of time freedom and money freedom is priceless! I just need to remember to take time out for me and my loved one, celebrate those little wins and when all else fails… Go to my Zero Level Marketing Plan! :)

Have a great fun filled weekend!

Kirsty
